Join us in Celebrating the MDA Classes of 2026
Our MDA graduating class of 2026 is composed of leaders in a wide variety of fields. Coming from all over the world, they represent the global interdisciplinary collaboration needed to address some of today’s most complex challenges. We are honored to gather the international community of people who have supported them on their journey for this special graduation. On May 25th & 26th 2026, we invite friends and family to join the official Graduation Ceremony (Part I, online & Part II, in person). To register please see the information below.
Student & Guest Registration
We are so excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our MDA Class of 2026 with the family and friends who have supported them along their journey to graduation.
On May 26th, 2026, every student can invite as many guests to The Lyrical, the first part of the Graduation Ceremony hosted online. On May 26th, students can invite three guests to join the second part of the Graduation Ceremony, hosted in person in San Francisco. Master degree candidates, please register yourself and your guests for the official Graduation Ceremony using the registration link. Please note that if you have children under 16, or if your guests have children under 3, these children do not need to be registered using one of your guest tickets, but must still be registered via the form to account for seating.

Procedures & Policies
For guests traveling from outside of the United States, you can request for a Visa Application Support Letter via the form to attend the ceremony on May 26th.
For all in-person events a mask is not required, wearing one is your choice. We require you to show no Covid-19 symptoms within 10 days of the event.
Graduation Schedule
It is with excitement that we welcome MDA students to participate in a series of events, building up to the final Graduation Ceremony. Please note that changes in schedule might still occur. Venues & timing will be updated as things are finalized & will be communicated immediately to MDA students.
Minerva Conference Mixer

Join Minerva's Undergraduate & MDA class of 2026, staff & faculty, alumni & partners / professionals for a celebratory finale to the Undergraduate Conference. Graduates will get to mix & mingle with the undergraduate class, alumni & partners. Food and drink provided.
MDA Dinner

We invite MDA graduates to dinner in San Francisco with members of the Graduate team & Cabinet as a part of their Minerva Graduation.
The Lyrical

This is the first part of the Minerva Graduation for MDA Graduates. The Minerva community—graduates, their family members & guests, staff & faculty—are invited to come and celebrate the achievements of the MDA Class of 2026 as a whole with the Lyrical Virtual Ceremony. This is a non-ticketed, virtual event.
ASM Family Field Day

The Undergraduate class of 2026 Associated Students of Minerva representatives invite all Minerva graduates, their family members & guests, and staff & faculty to come together for a picnic & field day. This event will give the extended Minerva community a time to relax, eat together, and engage in games, activities & contests. This is a non-ticketed event.
Degree Conferral Ceremony
Herbst Theater | May 26
3:00 pm – 7:00 pm PST
This is the second part of the Minerva Graduation for MDA graduates. Graduates and two ticketed family members & guests are invited to celebrate the Class of 2026 with a Degree Conferral Ceremony, followed by reception. Join the Minerva staff and faculty in celebrating the achievement of the Class of 2026. The Herbst Theater will host us for the ceremony, with the Veterans Building Lobby hosting the reception, featuring dessert & drinks. This is a ticketed event.
All venues located at 401 Van Ness St.
Dress code: Formal or Traditional attire.
Valete, Salvete
Pandora Karaoke Bar | May 26
Say goodbye (valete) to being a student and hello (salvete) to being a Minerva Alum! Minerva graduates are invited to join the Alumni for this Graduation tradition. Mix and mingle with Alumni, participate in alumni initiation, and let loose in celebration of Graduation!
